What is ‘Become Mindful with Menace?
An engaging A4 workbook designed using NLP (Neuro-Linguistical Programming) approaches and other therapeutic techniques to support children who are struggling to self-regulate. It has been created for parents and children to explore their feelings, learn why we feel these big emotions, emotional triggers and techniques to manage them. Menace the Mindful Monster is a character created by Jodi, the founder of Future Footsteps, to help children to learn and engage with calming activities.

How can this help my child?
This workbook has been designed and structured to develop emotional intelligence. Teaching our children about their different emotions becoming more self-aware. The NLP and therapeutic approaches offer an engaging but not overwhelming way to help them understand how thoughts and feelings are linked together. A lot of research suggests that these kind of activities offer children a way to process and manage their emotions by learning strategies for self-regulation.

What age is this book suitable for?
It is a fabulous resource for children aged approximately 5-11 years. Particularly those struggling to mange their emotions as well as being a great educational resource for all children.
