Today I set myself a goal, to not only get my blog up and running and allow my readers to get a sense of who I am but to also begin studying for my NLP foundation skills diploma. In terms of achieving, I have definitely done that.
NLP was created by Richard Bandler and John Grinder in the 1970's. It is a one of a kind approach to communication and personal development. I am passionate about learning this technique as it provides people with amazing capabilities to self improve. An area which I strongly believe so many of us including myself can learn from.
Even from studying my first module I have already learned so much. A key element I have taken is how to make sure we set ourselves outcomes which are well informed. By doing this we provide ourselves with a higher rate of success. Who couldn't want that right?
As a process we have to feel excited by our desired outcomes, we have to believe we can achieve them and plan how we can get there. Will we experience hiccups along the way, of course we will, but its all about how we deal with our mistakes and failures. Where do we take them next?
By following a few simple but empowering steps we can increase our rate of success. NLP can provide us with a number of analogies that help us make sense of our world and provide us with ways through which we can be the best version of ourselves.
